Several main performances in Festivals and Broadcasting (last five years)

During the years of 2008-2009 Farangis Nurulla-Khoja is working with Percussions de Strasbourg. The premiere of a piece for Percussions de Strasbourg and six traditional instruments are in the following places:

Grenoble - November 22nd / Strasbourg - November 25th / Rouen - December 2nd 2008 and perhaps a new perform in Marseille on may 2009.2008/04/09-10 Blind flower by Ensemble Continuum is for voice, flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano (commissioned by Continuum, world premiere) at UMBC and at the Freer-Sackler Galleries of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

2008/02/23 Giuoco Piano for saxophone quartet, commissioned and performed by Saxophone Quartet Quasar, at  Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal.

2007/04/20 La devinette d'Arlequin for the New Julliard Chamber Ensemble, commissioned and conducted by Joel Sachs at Lincoln Centre. New-York

2007/05/10 The might of whirling winds
(commission from the Swedish Concert Institute for Duo Ego) during the GAS festival in Gothenburg.

2006/11/01 Tabula Rasa for saxophone quartet and live electronics, commissioned and performed by Saxophone Quartet Quasar, Montreal.

2006/09/08 Three rivers, four strings for chamber ensemble Ziggurat, performed during the Gaudeamus Festival in Amsterdam.

2006/10/07-08-09 Fushbash Lomo, Shunidam I, Shunidam II  for chamber orchestra of Eastern & Western instruments commissioned by Foundation Royaumont and performed at Abbey Royaumont (France).

2000/08/25 Scarabee for Nouvel Ensemble Modern, performed at St-Irene (Quebec, Canada)She will be working at the same time on her new composition for Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. In 2009 she will also start to compose her first electro-acoustic opera.
